Business Loan Products

FNB is committed to meeting the loan needs of local businesses and understands that a strong commercial base is best way to a healthy local economy. We also offer guaranteed loans in cooperation with the Small Business Administration (SBA), Local Economic Development Programs, and Regional Programs such as S.E.M.I.F. and Region Nine.

Operating Loans and Revolving Lines of Credit
We offer loans for your short term and operating expenses such as inventory or small equipment purchases and budgeted production costs. Loan terms may range from 30 days to one year or may be set up as revolving lines of credit that allow qualified borrowers to use the available funds when they need them. These loans are also available in conjunction with SBA programs.

Term loans for working capital, business expansion, and equipment needs
When you plan to purchase or update your business equipment, we offer flexible financing options that are tailored to your operation. We offer fixed and variable rate loans with maturities up to 5 or 7 years. The amortization may be up to 15 years if necessary or in conjunction with SBA or other Economic Development programs. Your down payment can consist of cash or equity in your trade-in and payments can be scheduled to coincide with your projected income stream.

Accounts Receivable financing for enhanced working capital
The First National Bank of Le Center can finance your accounts receivable to give you cash from your sales which have not been paid by your customer. Financing of your account receivables can be written into an installment loan to enhance your working capital availability.

Economic Development and loan programs through the SBA
These programs allow us to offer guaranteed loan options for term repayment and working capital needs when starting a new business, expanding your present operation, or recovery from a natural disaster. First National Bank works in conjunction with the Le Center EDA, Southeast Minnesota Initiative Fund, Region Nine Development, SBA 7a, and 504 loans, and other programs to assist you in attaining your long term business goals.

Letters of Credit
Letters of credit may be necessary when purchasing equipment or inventory when outside your local area. They may also be necessary when bidding on construction projects where the recipient may be unfamiliar with your company. When you need to guarantee payments or performance for any transaction or project, we can help you with the proper Letter of Credit. We will help you write it to contain the language necessary to protect your interest and obligation, yet satisfy the requirements of the beneficiary.

Business credit cards and Merchant Card Program
With our merchant card program, you can enjoy having the proceeds of your sales available to help meet daily expenses and allow your customers to pay with a credit card. Working through Élan, we can assist you in setting up the merchant account best suited to your business. We also offer business Visa credit cards designed to help you monitor and control company purchases and travel & entertainment expenses.
